Waldy’s Pizza

We are now

Used to be that my favorite pizza was Vezzo’s but not any more.  A lot cheaper and a lot more delicious is Waldy’s on 6th Avenue and 27th Street.  Hopefully they don’t get too big, have too many stores, and lose it.

Why is Reserve Empty?

An amazing and quietly secret place in Murray Hill surrounded by all the noisy bars.  This gem has great and affordable Thai inspired food.  Yum.  Don’t believe me?  Believe this:

Favorite Cup Cake

It’s been ages since I’ve posted. And not many things will make me come out of hiding, but this awesome chocolate beauty is worth the 1000 calories AND the posting time. Where to find it: Penelope’s on Lexington and 30th. But I am not recommending the website. We had nothing to do with it.

Chow Down

Sometimes I just don’t feel like feeling lousy, and so I go out to eat, or shop or just pretend I’m a goddamn tourist except I don’t walk around with my eyes skyward looking at all the tall buildings and I’m still not very nice. Or at least, not as nice as someone from, let’s say Indiana. So just to get the party started, I’ve listed a few of my favorite restaurants in the Hood. My hood that is, which is, the great big dirty Apple.

Le Singe Vert – 7th Avenue at 19th Street–Who needs Paris when you have Le Singe Vert? A little crowded though, like NY but without the smoke. I promise, you will LOVE. Just be prepared to squeeze.
